Born on 26th May 1991, Amber is a singer and song-writer. She holds a Green Belt in Judo, which she studied and practised before an injury put a stop to martial arts, allowing Amber to focus all her time and energy on her one true passion, music.

For the past six years, Amber has been under the vocal direction of Pamela Bezzina and Joshua Alamu, an eminent British speech level singing vocal instructor. To date, she has won several local and international talent shows and competitions, culminating in being chosen to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015. Her music idol is Ray Charles but she is also highly inspired by the female pioneer of the 1950’s rhythm and blues and rock music, Etta James and by the modern-day feminist and dynamic artist, Beyoncé. Amber has undertaken
promotional tours in the UK and Russia and a large scale music performance in Austria. She performed a duet with world famous tenor Joseph Calleja, Gigi D’Alessio and Ronan Keating.

She was invited to perform at the 2016 Isle of MTV concert in Malta. She topped the local iTunes and local radio charts with her latest single “Messed Up Love” and with “What They Say” and “Warrior”.

Amber today attends the University of Malta where she is reading for a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood. Voluntary work is a great part of Amber’s character and she has often used music to raise funds for charity. She has been to Tanzania twice on charity drives and has also spent ample time helping young kids in need in Reggio Calabria, Italy.
